Management
Management implements the guidelines issued by the Board of Directors regarding the establishment, maintenance, supervision, and regular monitoring of appropriate internal control processes.
Management is responsible for controlling, monitoring, and preventing AML/CTF risks within Astrantia. To that effect, it designates one of its members as responsible for the Compliance function with complete independence from the profit-oriented business activities, thereby taking the necessary precautions to guarantee Astrantia complies at all times with relevant legal, supervisory, and internal provisions.
Lukas Wissner
CEO
Lukas Wissner holds a master's degree in Philosophy, Languages and Literature from the University of Geneva. Prior to establishing Astrantia, he worked as an international policy analyst for a leading American law firm and held various positions at Swiss private banks, such as Sarasin, Wegelin, and Coutts in Geneva. Lukas specializes in Swiss AML legislation and global regulatory compliance and is passionate about software design and process automation.
Aliya Torriani
Director
Aliya Torriani holds a degree in philology from the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian University, Astana and is a Swiss Certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA). She has collected her 15-year banking experience while working as a private banker for Credit Suisse and UBS, Switzerland's largest universal banks. Aliya is fluent in German, English, French and Russian.
Halid Akça
Compliance Manager, BLaw, CAMS
Halid Akça holds a bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Zurich and is an ACAMS certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist. Prior to joining Astrantia, Halid worked for 3 years at Migros Bank in Zurich where he was responsible for Migros Bank's Customer Centre's adherence to internal processes and rules, in addition to compliance with the Agreement on the Swiss banks’ code of conduct with regard to the exercise of due diligence (CDB 20). Halid is fluent in German, English, French and Turkish.
